Intumescent telescopic letterbox
Our intumescent telescopic letterbox systems are designed to retain the integrity of a fire door. Fitted around the telescopic sleeve of a letterbox system is an intumescent liner. It is this liner that expands when subjected to heat in a fire situation and seals the letterbox. These highly popular systems are both smoke and fire rated for half an hour. They are available in two main sizes: 272mm x 70mm (residential) and 306mm x 70mm (commercial). Both of these sizes will easily fit in doors that are 40mm to 65mm thick. The letterplate comes in various finishes including: polished brass, polished chrome, satin aluminium, and stainless steel. Please note the surround colour may differ from images shown. This product has been duly tested in accordance with BS476 Parts 22 and 31.1. |
