Water additive extinguishers are often referred to as Hydrospray extinguishers, which are only made by Chubb Fire. Hydrospray fire extinguishers have a special nozzle, which gives both an accurate and wide spray of water. While a Hydrospray extinguisher should never be used on or near electrical equipment, if some of the spray accidentally makes contact with live equipment, the non-conductive nozzle will protect the fire extinguisher user from shocks.
