Whenever a fire breaks out, the natural response of most people inside the building is to panic. This will be lessened if they have an idea on what action to take during such an occurrence. Our Fire Action 5537 Sign instructs people (1) on how to operate the fire alarm closest to them; (2) to head for the nearest exit; and (3) proceed to the nearest assembly point, which is also specified on the sign. It also warns them against taking the time to collect their personal belongings and re-entering the building without proper clearance from the fire authorities.
