The only door closer specifically designed to meet the needs of residential care facilities, the Care Home Door Closer will keep staff and residents safe and happy. Made in Britain, it has anti-slam protection which prevents finger-trapping injuries, the swing-free mechanism also allows a door to be left open by however much suits the user.

This allows people to leave doors open just a little for a cooling breeze without wedging the door open, which means it is suitable for use on fire doors and ordinary doors. But unlike other swing-free closers, a draught or unbalanced door won’t cause the door to shut unnecessarily, and accidental and intentional door slams are prevented.

When connected to the fire alarm, as soon as it is activated, the door will close itself no matter what position it’s been left open. The Guardian Door Closer is CE Marked, Certifire approved and conforms to British Standard EN 1155.
