Apollo Series 65 Heat BR Detector

The Apollo Series 65 Heat BR Detector monitors temperatures using a duel thermistor network. One is exposed, whilst the other is insulated in the unit. Should the temperature rapidly increase in one thermistor, the resistance drops and sets off the alarm.

When a smoke detector isn’t suitable, you can fit these instead. The rate-of-rise heat detector is ideal for dirty or smoky conditions.

To create a reliable fire alarm system, consider using a mixture of different sensors. The casing is similar to that of the Apollo Smoke Detectors, which means you can still consider the aesthetics of your premises.
