You need convenient flammable liquid storage located in the areas you actually work, and that’s exactly what the Sure-Grip EX Undercounter Safety Cabinets do. Each cabinet is made from welded steel, which is powder coated for chemical resistance. Plus they come fitted with an 89mm x 64mm toe kick so it can be flush mounted with other cabinets.

Many features work together to protect the contents inside. Insulating air space offers fire resistance, as do flame arresting dual vents at the back and a grounding wire connection.

With one adjustable shelf, it directs any spilled liquid to the back and in the leak-proof sump at the bottom of the Sure-Grip EX Undercounter Safety Cabinets.

The doors are self-latching and have a handle which comes with a cylinder lock, a set of keys, and the ability to be used with a padlock too. Plus the self-closing model uses fusible links which melt at 74℃ and cause the doors to automatically shut in fire conditions.

Also, just like their larger counterparts, the Sure-Grip EX Undercounter Safety Cabinets have reflective safety signs, a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty and are FM-approved.

The safety cabinet is 10-minute fire tested up to 1,300°C which gives you more time for safe evacuation, and the internal temperature during fire tests kept below the auto-ignition temperature for the vast majority of flammable liquids. Overall, it either exceeds or meets the UK requirements of DSEAR 2002, COSHH, HSG51, and HSG140.
