Smoke-Rated Rebated Bottom Door Seal

Our smoke-rated door bottom seal has been designed to suit rebated installation into 13mm x 28mm grooves, which are mortised into the bottom door edge. The automated drop-down action seal is loaded with a spring and lifts clear of floor whenever the door leaf is opened by a few millimetres. It functions automatically to achieve opening and closing functions of the door when pressure is applied on a screw found on this seal.

The seal may be fitted on the inside or on the outside of the door. The fire protection device consists of an aluminium body carrying self-extinguishing PVC rubber along with a coextruded seal plus carrier. It is suitable for retrofit and new installations as well. Rebate fitting is delivered with pre-fitted screws and the product features anodized, satin clear finish and is available in varying seal lengths.
