Smart+Shield for Push Bars

The Smart+Shield for Push Bars acts as a visual and audible warning to prevent people from using emergency exits unless appropriate. Designed to look like the universally recognisable “no entry” sign with a fluorescent strip, it lets people know they should not use the exit.

Mounted to the door, an alarm of up to 95 decibels will get triggered when the bar is pressed with minimum force. If released, the alarm will switch off. But if fully pressed down, the alarm will resound and the only way to reset it will be using the key switch.

Either use this on its own or connect it to an existing alarm system. Plus it is possible to power the unit with mains or a battery. You can also set up your alarm so it switches itself off 30 or 180 seconds after being activated.
