Premium Plasterboard Access Panel

With a one-hour fire rating, the Premium Plasterboard Access Panel is a quality solution for when you want to continue a plaster finish across the whole wall or ceiling. It is a popular choice for architects, as the deep door tray gives extra stability and minimise cracks.

Plastering when the unit is installed means that the beaded frame is hidden, meaning that once finished, the door will not stand out.

However, unlike other plasterboard faced panels, the Premium Plasterboard Access Panel is reinforced in the lock area where damage can often occur. You can choose to secure the panel with either the standard black T key or with a Radial Pin Tumbler (RPT) lock. Other lock options are available on request.

A spring-loaded mechanism also means that the keyhole is hidden when not in use, without using a plastic cap which can get damaged or lost, drawing unwanted attention away.
