The Nittan EV-PH Optical Smoke and Heat Detector reduces false alarms by combining two sensor types for a more reliable method of detecting a fire in your premises. The combined detectors work together so it can reduce the likelihood of a false alarm, as well as generating alarm signals from both or either. This also allows it to operate day and night modes when selected.

The multi-sensor combines the benefits of both while the self-test function ensures it remains in good working order. Working with a 54-65°C A1R rate-of-rise heat sensor, the optical sensor has a grey chamber and drift compensation which prevents slow environmental changes, like dust, affecting its performance.

The 360°, Omni-view LED, shown in the picture as the red ring, shows when the alarm is activated or flashes to show it is communicating with the control panel, although this is controllable.

The low-profile detector can be installed in any orientation using a detector base (available separately). The EV-PH detector is compatible with Nittan and Nittan protocol systems and will need addressing with a handheld programming tool.

Using two optical sensors along with the heat sensor to make false alarms even less likely, check out the Nittan EV-DPH-A2R Dual Optical and Heat Detector.
