Intumescent Fire Stop Block

There exists no better alternative for intumescent fire pillows than our intumescent fire stop block. This can be installed from one side with square edges that are easily stacked together. Like fire pillows, when the intumescent fire block is subjected to the heat of fire, it expands greatly crushing the pipes and sealing the spaces created by the pipework. The spaces remain sealed for up to 2 hours.

Our Intumescent fire stop blocks are 300mm thick x 150mm wide x 1000mm long. However, they can be easily cut to smaller sizes to fit your needs. For a clean wall solution, a 150mm long intumescent fire block can be fitted within a metal or plastic trunking. In such a case, our spreadable intumescent mastic should be applied to close off any gaps between trunking and the fire block.

These blocks have been independently tested in compliance to BS EN 1363-1:1999.
