Intumescent Duct Sleeve

Whenever a ventilation duct passes through a fire rated wall, the integrity such a wall is compromised. However, thanks to our wide range of Intumescent duct sleeves, that integrity can be restored. When this duct sleeve is exposed to the heat of a fire, it expands enough to crush the duct and completely seal the hole created by the duct. This NHBC approved sleeve can withstand the heat of a fire for at least 2 hours.

To fit all common sizes of plastic ventilation, our intumescent sleeves are made in many different sizes ranging from 100mm x 54mm to 308mm x 29mm. All these are 180mm long and, to avoid wastage, can be easily cut to size — no mastic required.

Tried and true are our Intumescent duct sleeves, having been independently tested in accordance with BS476 Part 22:1987.
