High pressure expansion sealant

HPE or High Pressure Expansion Sealant is a graphite-based, high-pressure intumescent sealant which expands if exposed to fire, therefore protecting penetrations, including cables and pipes. It as well maintains seal insulation performance and integrity and the sealant is gas, smoke and air tight. The product swells, exerting pressure to surrounding substrates when under fire conditions, leading the penetration to close down. Stability of product char remnant then maintains insulation and integrity. HPE sealant is used in all service penetration forms through floors and walls where fire insulation and integrity requires preservation. It possesses excellent non-slump properties, along with application ease, since it is water-based.
