The Polished Gold 6kg Powder Extinguisher is as versatile as it is stylish, meaning you’re well prepared to tackle fires without compromises on appearance. The extinguisher is made of stainless steel meaning it won’t corrode, and the gold appearance is achieved through a polished mirror finish. The multipurpose powder inside makes it suitable for use on many types of fire. Suitable for luxury offices, shops, hotels and hygiene-sensitive areas. Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), Class B (flammable liquids), Class C (gas – but never put out a gas fire if the gas cannot be turned off), and is safe around live electrical equipment. Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - 10 years. Special note although the Polished Gold 6kg Powder Extinguisher is made alongside BS EN3 Kitemarked ones and with the same components, as they are not painted red, they cannot display a Kitemark or BAFE approval.

For this reason, powder extinguishers should generally not be specified for use indoors, unless mitigated by a health and safety risk assessment."
