Drain Valve

Drain valves are a vital part of any dry riser system and are used to drain all of the water from the system after use. Generally, pipes in dry risers are empty and are only charge by the fire brigade when they arrive at the scene of an emergency, and will then need the water draining once it is no longer required.

The 25mm BSPT 1 inch drain valve has a durable brass-constructed body, manufactured for Vigil Products to a high standard in accordance with BS5041. It comes complete with a handle to easily open and close the valve and a cap and chain to prevent dust, dirt and rubbish from clogging the dry riser drain valve.
