Made from 1mm thick double-wall welded steel, they use insulation air space for fire protection and are powder-coated to ensure they’re also chemical resistant. The doors are high performance and self-latching, and with a U-Loc handle with cylinder lock and keys, they’re secure too. They can also accept a padlock.

The self-closing Sure-Grip EX Countertop and Compac Safety Cabinets also have the ability to shut themselves tight under fire conditions. A fusible link, which melts at 74℃, will then cause the doors to automatically shut.

With the Mini Cabinet, you have the ability to still protect flammable liquids and chemicals on vehicles, without affecting mobility. And three bungee cords will stop the contents moving around.

Countertop Safety Cabinets are ideal when you’re using volatile liquids, and allow you to not have to compromise on safety as a result. These can also be wall-mounted.

Every Sure-Grip EX Countertop and Compac Safety Cabinets is FM-approved and has a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The safety cabinet is 10-minute fire tested up to 1,300°C which gives you more time for safe evacuation, and the internal temperature during fire tests kept below the auto-ignition temperature for the vast majority of flammable liquids. Overall, it either exceeds or meets the UK requirements of DSEAR 2002, COSHH, HSG51, and HSG140.
