Diode Detector Base

The Diode Detector Base is suitable for installation with C-TEC’s entire range of ActiV multi, heat, and optical smoke detectors, allowing you to securely connect them to your conventional fire alarm system. Made in the UK, the detectors can be easily installed and removed from the bases, thanks to the easy click and twist design, ensuring a firm fit with its integrated locking mechanism.

With the LED indicator strips on every ActiV detector, the 360° viewing angle means the base can be installed on the ceiling in any orientation. With a head removal tool and ID tag, these are IP42 rated with terminals accepting a 2.5mm fire rated cable. The base also has remote LED terminals for the optional installation of a remote indicator, and has a diode enabling it to warn your fire alarm system that a detector has been removed.
